Gaming Club Casino Review

Gaming Club

As you are about to realize, having a license from a reputable gaming jurisdiction typically comes with a series of restrictions, and Gaming Club has had to fall in line with the requirements of the Malta Gaming Authority. Unfortunately, that means that Americans are not allowed to play at the site. So, for the foreseeable future, this map won’t change:

  • Website available in multiple languages
  • Lots of Progressive Jackpots
  • Long history in the business
  • Multiple languages supported
  • U.S. players not allowed
  • Lots of Progressive Jackpots
  • Long history in the business
  • Multiple languages supported

Is Gaming Club Casino Legit for U.S. Players?

These days, since they no longer accept players from the United States, the answer to this question is “No.” It is entirely possible that one day the U.S. government will get their act in gear and allow their residents to entertain themselves at an online casino, but for now, we have to wait, along with the residents of these countries who also are not allowed to create real money accounts at Gaming Club:

  • Belgium
  • Czech Republic
  • Denmark
  • Spain
  • France
  • United Kingdom
  • Hong Kong
  • Hungary
  • Israel
  • Iran
  • Italy
  • Philippines

Casino Review

We are going to cover the following in our detailed review:

Casino Games

For their casino, Gaming Club uses Microgaming’s software. In fact, Gaming Club was one of the South African software developer’s first clients, dating back to almost twenty years ago now. The software has been at the top the heap for ages now; the quality of the games is virtually unmatched by their competition, and Microgaming has worked diligently to add games and content to their platform on a frequent basis.

The casino games at Gaming Club are available in both download and instant-play formats. You should note, however, that not all the games are able to be played in your browser so you may see a few reviewed below that you will need to download the casino client to be able to access.

Slots

We tend to start our reviews of Microgaming-powered casinos with the slots catalog; not only does it have the largest number of individual titles, but it is also where the biggest jackpots are housed. The progressive engine connect s many of Microgaming’s licensees, allowing them to pool the contributions to the jackpots, causing them to grow more rapidly. At the time of this review, there are several million in jackpots available at Gaming Club, the largest of this is on Mega Moolah, which you can try here for free if you want to see it in action:

There are over 250 slots titles to choose from in the lobby; below is a selection of our favorites which is a good place for you to start:

  • Bridesmaids
  • BrideZilla

Table Games

Microgaming has spent a significant amount of resources on their Table Games development, specifically in the areas of Blackjack and Roulette. The end result is that you will find multiple options for both games in the lobby at Gaming Club; we prefer the European Roulette over any of the others. Here it is in free play format:

As for the rest of the titles, you will see all the traditional games listed below as well as some more modern games that are thrown into the mix:

Continuing on the theme of comprehensive game options, there are 26 video poker machines to choose from at Gaming Club; this is more than you will typically find at an online site. The great news for seasoned veterans of the game is that you will find tables like All Aces that have an almost dead even pay table; finding these types of games helps to change your ROI potential in a casino session. Have a look at all the choices you have in the Video Poker section of Gaming Club’s lobby:

  • All Aces
  • Jacks or Better
  • All American
  • Joker Poker
  • Bonus Poker Deluxe

Live Dealer Games

Gaming Club has recently added a Live Casino to their offering. Powered by the market leader in the space, Evolution Gaming, these games attempt to provide some warmth to the online casino experience by adding in real dealers and tables. The games are live-streamed to your machine from one of the seven studios that Evolution owns and operates across Europe, giving you the option to choose the dealer of your liking in most cases.

These are the games that Evolution currently offers players to play with Live Dealers:

  • Blackjack
  • Baccarat
  • Casino Hold’em
  • Roulette
  • Keno
  • Ultimate Texas Holdem

Customer Service

In a sign of the age of this casino, the support page at Gaming Club is littered with toll-free numbers for various countries. This comes from the days long before Live Chat was a feature; we are surprised they still have this many telephone options. Regardless, we always recommend that you use Live Chat if you have an issue that needs resolving; you can also use email if you want to keep a more permanent record of the communication.

Promotions

The Promotions page of this casino has left us, well, wanting more. Seriously, it seems like they want us to beg for information on this site. Oh, except for information on the wagering requirements for bonuses, which is all too easy to find. At Gaming Club, you need to play through 50x the bonus, and this gets worse if you are a Table Games fan, as the amount is multiplied heavily when you play those games.

As for the promotions, we did find, let’s cover a couple of them here:

No-Deposit Bonus

At this point of the review, we found this almost comical in its failure. There is a tab for a No Deposit Bonus, and when you click on it, you are taken to a page that outlines how in a competitive market, having a no-deposit bonus is a nice touch.

And then….

There is no bonus listed.

Sigh….

Welcome Bonus

OK, here is a bonus that is both listed on their site and easy to understand. The Welcome offer at Gaming Club is split into two for your first two deposits at the site:

  • 1st Deposit: 100% to $200
  • 2nd Deposit: 150% to $150

Not bad, all in all, but you need to keep in mind the wagering requirements when you decide to make your deposit.

Tournaments

We are pleased to see a series of tournaments sitting in the casino lobby. These can add a lot of excitement and competition to what could be considered a very dull slot machine; many of these tournaments are free to enter, and you can enhance your playing experience by winning some extra cash. Not bad, especially considering how little else there is listed on the site.

Ongoing Promotions

Gaming Club wants you to know that they have lots of great promotions and offers; they just don’t want to advertise what they are! Here is what they write on their promotions page:

When you play at Gaming Club Casino, you will be bombarded with many promotional offers, Loyalty Rewards, and VIP Rewards!

Prize Packed Promotions: You can take advantage of daily, weekly and monthly promotions filled with rewards that range from cash, casino credits, and free spins to cool gadgets, 5-star cruises and exotic holidays!

Match Promotions: You will be offered regular midweek and weekend percentage match bonuses based on your playing activity of the preceding weeks! – You will receive updates via emails and in your software to alert you to any bonus reward opportunities.

Again, it wouldn’t take much to post a couple of these offers on the site; it isn’t like they are reinventing the wheel with a reload bonus or leaderboard, so there shouldn’t be any fear of another site stealing their ideas.

Banking

Given that fact this casino has been around for almost two decades, it is safe to say that the payments department has seen their share of ups and downs. It has been a moving target for ages now, but the casino has partnerships with so many processors now that getting your money to and from the site should not be an issue. They claim on their site to have the fastest payouts in the industry (everything in 48 hours or less) – we hope that isn’t fake news.

VIP Program

This part of the site if baffling to us. The company claims to have a VIP program and to take care of their players very well, but there is no information on what the program entails, nor how to qualify for it. This is all we found when we checked the site:

Gaming Club Casino rolls out the red carpet for its Very Important Players. Their 5-star rewards exceed the standard casino offers so VIP players can look forward to more free spins, credits, and bonuses as well as exclusive promotions. Plus they receive personal assistance from VIP hosts any time of the night or day.

This is too vague for us; we want details on what levels the program has, and what rewards players receive for achieving different levels of status. A casino’s VIP program can be a great way to promote loyalty to the brand; without any details, we don’t know if it is even worth it to play here more than a short period of time.

Conclusion

Gaming Club was one of the first sites to hit the online gaming market – in fact, they were around well before many people even knew about the Internet. While we give them lots of credit for having survived this long in the highly competitive online casino landscape, we wish the company would be more transparent about some of their offers.

When we review a casino, we want to learn as much as we can about a brand before we decide to recommend it to our readers. The fact of the matter here is that because Gaming Club is so stingy with their information, we feel like we have done an incomplete review.

From what we see, we like the offer at Gaming Club. However, to give it a full recommendation, we will have to gather more information about the ongoing promotions and the VIP Program. So, for now, if you are willing to forge on without that info, then you will find a safe place to play with excellent software at this casino.
