Crazy Vegas Casino Review

Crazy Vegas
Sadly, like most of the casinos that are licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority, players from the United States are not welcome to play at the site for real money.  We know some of you try to bypass these rules with proxy servers and IP spoofing, but we don’t think you should take the risk of having your money confiscated if you are caught.
  • Lots of Promotions
  • Excellent Welcome Bonus
  • Multiple Software providers
  • No U.S. players welcome
  • Website navigation is tricky

Is Crazy Vegas Casino Legit for U.S. Players?

The Crazy Vegas Casino, despite having a U.S. city in its name, is not a legit casino for U.S. players.  At some point in time, we are all hopeful that the laws will change in the States which will allow all casinos to be open for play to residents.  Don’t feel too bad, though: you aren’t the only country restricted from playing these games for real money.  Here are the rest of the list:
  • Australia
  • Belgium
  • Cyprus
  • Denmark
  • France
  • Greece
  • Italy
  • Russia
  • South Africa
  • Spain
  • United Kingdom

Casino Review

We are going to cover the following in our detailed review:

Casino

Let’s start by talking about the software being used at this casino.  Or should we say, the multiple software providers being used.  Microgaming is the lead provider of the casino games, however, if you look around, you will also find games from the following vendors:
  • Betsoft
  • Evolution Gaming
  • Genii
  • Net Entertainment
  • Play’n GO
  • Quickspin
  • Red Tiger Gaming
  • Yggdrasil
This is an impressive list of suppliers, especially when you take into consideration the diversity of the content you will find as a result.  Some providers, like Betsoft, have made a living off one area of their product (like their 3D slots) while a company like Evolution only has one product to offer (Live Dealer Games).  All told, this adds up to several hundred different games available in the casino lobby; depending on where you live, you may not be able to see all the games as certain software providers place restrictions on operators as to who can play their titles. Let’s have a look at the games in more detail.

Table Games

One thing we like about a casino that offers games from many software partners is the choice you get.  Sometimes, a casino doesn’t use all the games offered by their vendors; it can easily make for a cluttered lobby.  It is great to not only see so many Table Games options at Crazy Vegas but throwing in games from different suppliers means you may get two or three very different looking Blackjack tables.  Many experiment players like the fact that they can change the look without having to leave the casino; you definitely can’t-do that in a land-based casino! There are a ton of Blackjack options for you at Crazy Vegas; you probably know how to play blackjack, so we suggest trying a game like Baccarat for free to see what you think: Here are the games you will find available in the Table Games area of this casino:
  • 21 Burn Blackjack
  • 3 Card Poker
  • Atlantic City Blackjack
  • Atlantic City Gold Blackjack
  • Baccarat
  • Bonus Blackjack
  • Caribbean Stud Poker
  • Casino Hold ‘Em
  • Casino War
  • Classic Blackjack
  • Craps
  • Crown and Anchor
  • Cyberstud Poker
  • Double Exposure
  • European blackjack redeal
  • European Gold Blackjack
  • Hi-Lo 13 European Blackjack
  • Let it Ride
  • Oasis Poker
  • Pai Gow Poker
  • Poker 3
  • Poker Pursuit
  • Pontoon
  • Premier High Streak Blackjack
  • Red Dog
  • Roulette
  • Sic Bo
  • Spanish 21
  • Three Card Poker
  • TXS Hold ’em
  • Vegas Downtown Blackjack
  • Vegas single deck Blackjack
  • Vegas Strip Blackjack

Slots

This may be the largest array of slots we have ever seen in an online casino.  At last count there were over 750 titles to choose from; with so many high-level vendors, this is not really a surprise.  There are classic 3 Reel games to give you the feel of the older slot machines, and also there is expanded content that comes by way of the licensing arrangements that the vendors have made with entertainment brands.  One game that shows off this content is Jurassic World; you can try that slot machine for free right here: We won’t go listing all the slots available here – that could make this page really long).  Here is a selection of some of the favorites in our office; we hope you will find some that you enjoy just as much:

  • 1429 Uncharted Seas
  • 1 Can 2 Can

Video Poker

We love everything about the Microgaming Video Poker, so we are glad to see it on display in the Crazy Vegas lobby.  They have the most variants of all the different software suppliers. If you aren’t much of a video poker enthusiast, we suggest you give it a try as you will be surprised at how fun the game can be!  In fact, you can try one of the games right here for free: While we would like to see a few more 50 and 100 hand machines, we are very happy that when you enter the casino lobby, you will see all these games to choose from:
  • Aces & Eights
  • Aces & Faces
  • All Aces
  • All American
  • Bonus Deuces Wild
  • Bonus Poker Deluxe
  • Deuces & Joker
  • Deuces Wild
  • Double Bonus
  • Double Double Bonus
  • Double Joker
  • Jacks or Better
  • Joker Poker (kings or better)
  • Louisiana Double
  • Tens or Better

Live Dealer games

Even though they have been in business for almost a decade, Evolution Gaming’s focus on Live Dealer Games has really taken off over the last 4-5 years.  These games, broadcast from one of Evolutions many studios, provide you with a real dealer at the table.  While the game is a little slower for obvious reasons, players have come to love the more human-like feel of these games, hence the growth in popularity of Evolution’s software. If you want to try out the Live Dealer games at Crazy Vegas, you will have to play for real money.  Here are your options:
  • Three Card Poker
  • Ultimate Texas Hold ‘Em
  • Roulette
  • Casino Hold ‘Em
  • Baccarat
  • Blackjack

Customer Service

The Support team at Crazy Vegas is available for you anytime day or night.  One thing you can do is check out their Frequently Asked Questions section before you contact the casino directly; you would be surprised to find the answers to most of the simple queries you may have listed there. If you still feel the need to speak directly to the casino, then we would suggest using their Live Chat feature.  When we tested it, an agent was available within a matter of seconds and was able to answer our questions quickly, succinctly and, most importantly, correctly. You can also reach the Support center via telephone and email.

Promotions

There is a wide range of promotions to be found on the Crazy Vegas website; this is a welcome change from so many of the casinos that we have reviewed recently.  It seems that many operators want to limit what can be seen by the public, focusing on a more targeted, personal approach via email.  While we think that is a good strategy, there also needs to be a sense of what types of promotions a player can expect when they are considering playing for the first time.  We see a little of both at this casino, as you can see with these examples:

Welcome Bonus

Get a Fantastic Welcome Offer of Up to $500 FREE Over Your First Three Deposits and 100 Wager Free Spins! This is a deposit bonus split over the first three deposits you make at Crazy Vegas; on your first three deposits at Crazy Vegas Casino, you will receive up to $500 FREE and 100 Wager Free Spins! – Simply make your first minimum deposit of $20 or more, and you will be on your way to enjoying your welcome package.
  • 1st Deposit: 100% up to $250 plus 10 Free spins a day for 10 consecutive days
  • 2nd Deposit: 50% up to $150
  • 3rd Deposit: 100% up to $100
I like that there is a Free Spin component, and spreading that over 10 days is a way to instantly create repetitive behavior, which is the cornerstone of loyalty in the casino world. The casino does have some Terms and Conditions that apply to this Welcome Bonus:
  • The minimum wagering requirement on the welcome offer is 50X and 100 bets.
  • Bonuses will expire after 30 days.
  • Any promotional ‘Low Wager’ Free Spins offer is subject to a wagering requirement of 10X the winnings and the total winnings may not exceed $200. – See all other T&C’s that apply.
Overall we think this is a very competitive Welcome Bonus offer.

Monday Magical Extravaganza! – Enjoy a 40% Bonus Worth Up to $100!

This ongoing weekly promotion focuses on a day that is not typically very busy for an online casino; they are trying to get you to open up your wallet at the beginning of the week. Here is how the promotion is described: You can look forward to the Monday Magical Extravaganza at Crazy Vegas Casino and enjoy a 40% Bonus worth up to $100 when you deposit with the code: MAGIC! – Simply make your minimum deposit of $20 or more with the code: MAGIC to get your bonus. Note: *A 40X play-through is required on promotional Bonuses. – See all other T&C’s that apply.

A Night on The Town!

Here is another weekly promotion that this time gives you something extra on the weekend.  A lot of casinos don’t bother with weekend bonuses – they know that is their busiest time anyway – so we are happy to see this one on the books.  Also, they cover both slots players and Table Games players by offering either a deposit bonus in cash or Free Spins. On Saturdays at Crazy Vegas Casino you can choose between a 30% Bonus up to $150 on your next deposit by using the bonus code: MYBONUS or you can choose 30 Free spins on ‘GONZO’S QUEST’ by using the bonus code: MYSPINS. Simply use either bonus code when you make your deposit of $20 or more.

Banking

While Crazy Vegas doesn’t have the sheer volume of different payment methods available, that should not be an issue; the ones they have on board are the largest providers on the planet, so there is very little chance you won’t find a way to fund your account after you register.

VIP Program

There is a VIP Program at Crazy Vegas Casino – there is even a whole section of the site dedicated to Vegas VIPs – but there doesn’t seem to be much in the way of details on the program.  What we found when we went to that section were a series of vague statements (many of which seem to be half off the page – I hope that is just an error on my side). When it comes to the benefits of being a VIP, the company lists the following:
  • Exclusive VIP Bonus
  • Super Low Wagering Requirements
  • Preferential Cash-Ins
  • No Maximum Bet
  • Larger Withdrawals
  • Special Cash Back for Select VIPs
  • Dedicated VIP Hosts
While that is all fine (along with the claims of lavish parties and gifts), there is nothing to tell you how you qualify for VIP status or how you can stay a VIP.  In fact, they require that you email them and ask them to look at your “case” to see if you are deemed a VIP.  To us, that is too much work; out the program up for the world to see and let that motivate people to become your most loyal players.

Conclusion

Initially, we tend to have a soft spot for any casino that envokes Las Vegas.  In this case, the website is nice and clean, and the scheme, while not in-your-face Vegas, is definitely trying to give you a VIP feeling.  We wish that the actual VIP Program matched this theme; it seems very subjective, and that leaves a bad taste in our mouths. Now, if you are a player who doesn’t care about that, then you will find an incredible number (almost 1,000) of games in the casino lobby.  The Welcome Bonus and ongoing promotions are also very attractive.  Overall, we would put this in the top half of the casinos we have reviewed; some small changes could propel it right into the top tier.
